Location

The famous village of Tsagarada in Pelion manages to present the ultimate combination of mountain and sea. Built amphitheatrically on a thickly wooded hillside, it offers a unique view over the Aegean Sea and it is surrounded by magnificent beaches, coves and bays. Beautiful country houses, traditional neoclassical buildings and stone-paved paths, yards filled with flowers, centenarian plane and chestnut trees, all come together to compose an ideal setting for relaxation. The village is sparsely built and gives the impression of many villages that are connected with each other through picturesque paths and trails.

The beautiful churches that are situated on each of the four central squares have given the names to the village's main neighbourhoods. The oldest one is the church of the Aghioi Taxiarches, followed by that of Aghia Paraskevi, with its massive pane tree that is over a thousand years old, and Aghios Stephanos, while further south one can find the neighbourhood of Aghia Kyriaki.
